The Biddulph Ramblers

Working for Walkers

26 of us from Biddulph Ramblers enjoyed a gentle 4 mile stroll around Scholar Green area.

Leaving from the Travellers Rest , we went up Cinderhill Lane and crossed the canaland headed

for Sludge Woods / The Dingle crossing the stream crossing the stream and sweet corn field

eventually turning down the road back to the Maccesfield canal. We sauntered along the A34

down by the side of the Bleeding Wolf and across the fields to reach the Village Hall. We arranged

to be back at the pub for 12.45 and on our arrival the meals started to appear out of the kitchen,

and in no time we were all served. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we all remarked on the

value for money.
