Now that all the Christmas paraphernalia is starting to appear in the shops, it is time for us to look forward to our own seasonal celebrations. Once again the venue for our lunch will be the Knot Inn at Rushton Spencer on Wednesday 16th December at 12.30pm. The lunch menus have not yet been issued by the Knot but they are expected to be released soon and will be distributed to all members to make their choices. The event will be preceded by a short walk commencing at 10.00am with details to be advised nearer the date.
To book a place, you can click on the “Book place” link in the publicity email sent to you on or about 16th October 2026. This will bring up a booking form. Complete this, then click the “Submit” button ONCE and WAIT. After some seconds delay, your booking will register.
Alternatively, you can book directly from this web page. First LOGIN (Account > Login); then click on the Event title on the website home page to re-display this web page. Click on the “Make a booking” button which now appears at the bottom of the web page. This will bring up the booking form.
In case of difficulty, or if you prefer to book in the old way, please email the event organiser, Ian Carter, by clicking on the envelope icon at the top of the page and completing the form. Please state the number of people you wish to book, their names and any dietary preferences.
A non-refundable £10 deposit per person will be required, deductible from your bill on the day.
