Matt Axford, a member of our Path maintenance team has over the last couple of months or so been putting together a booklet of short walks on behalf of Biddulph Ramblers, that can be enjoyed by all, families included, and which can be easily followed with a map and a description.  Matt has walked these nine short routes and made a list of PROW issues – please see below. In due course it is hoped that we might be able to tackle these PROW issues in a pragmatic fashion so that walkers can safely and more easily navigate these walks. Nigel of Staffordshire County Council, with whom we work on various tasks, has commented “Looks like a lot of good work has gone into this. I’m sure we can get onto these jobs in the coming weeks.”

Also, in the background, we are working on an application to the Ramblers Path Accessibility Fund, more of which later.
